Ford TW-35

Pictured above is a Ford TW-35.  The TW range was launched in 1979 and built in the United States.  The TW-35 was the the most powerful model and was introduced following a 1983 upgrade of the range.  The TW-35 remained in production until it was replaced by the Ford Series 30 tractors in 1989.

Power for the TW-35 was provided by a 6 cylinder, 6,571cc (6.7 Litre) diesel engine which was rated at 195 bhp. (186 hp (DIN) at 2200 rpm)  Fuel capacity was 378 Litres.  The weight was around 7800 Kilos for the 4x4 version.  Where required an additional four wheels could be fitted.  The TW range were leaders in the introduction of advanced features and the concentration on driver comfort increased productivity.
